Permissions

BubbleTimer requests a minimal set of permissions, listed below, required to bring you reliable Laundry alarms. See the Privacy Policy for more.

Android

Alarms & remindersUSE_EXACT_ALARMSCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Rings the alarm at the exact minute your cycle ends. This is what BubbleTimer is for.
NotificationsPOST_NOTIFICATIONS: Shows the running-timer notification and tells you when a load is done.
Full-screen notificationsUSE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT: Shows the alarm over your lock screen, or when the screen is off.
Foreground serviceFOREGROUND_SERVICEFOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Keeps the live countdown notification running while BubbleTimer is in the background.
Run at startupRECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Restores your running timers after a restart or app update. Alarms that came due while the phone was off appear when it starts.
VibrationVIBRATE: Vibrates when the alarm goes off.
Internet accessINTERNET: Sends anonymous usage analytics, crash reports and sampled session recordings, plus subscription status if you buy Pro. You can turn analytics and crash reporting off in Settings → Privacy.

iPhone

Not released yet. It will ask for Notifications to tell you when a load is done, and we'll list anything else here at launch.
