Privacy Policy

Effective September 1, 2026
Canonical URL: droidwebmedia.com/bubbletimer/privacy

In short

  • No account, name or email needed to use the app. Any display name or nickname you enter in BubbleTimer stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Pseudonymous usage data and crash reports. Our service providers (PostHog and Sentry) collect usage events, crash logs, and sampled session replays which are linked to a random, anonymous ID generated on your device (not your name or email). This data is used to identify bugs and improve features.
  • Subscriptions. In-app purchases and subscription status are handled by RevenueCat and your respective app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play).
  • Coarse location. We infer a rough country or region from your device to understand global usage patterns. We never request or track your exact GPS location.

This privacy policy applies to the BubbleTimer mobile application and related services (together, the "Application"), operated by Droidweb Media LLC ("Service Provider", "we", "us" or "our").

Information collection and processing

Automatically collected technical data and telemetry

When you use the Application, some technical information is processed automatically and sent to our analytics and diagnostics providers:

  • Device and network identifiers: your IP address, a random anonymous ID generated on your device, your operating system version, device model and system language.
  • Usage and event analytics: interactions in the app, screen navigation, feature usage and timing data.
  • Product Interaction & Visual Telemetry: To identify user interface friction, reproduce reported bugs, and improve app usability, we use third-party analytics services (such as PostHog) to process interaction events and sampled visual interaction logs. On-screen inputs and sensitive fields are masked before leaving your device.
  • Crash logs: stack traces and exception details when an error occurs.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

We offer paid features and subscriptions within the Application. To process purchases, manage access to paid features and understand how subscriptions perform, we use RevenueCat, Inc. ("RevenueCat").

  • Data collected: RevenueCat processes purchase history (such as transaction timestamps, product identifiers, price, currency and renewal status) and device identifiers (such as an anonymous app user ID, IP address, device model and operating system version).
  • Payment information: payment credentials, such as card numbers, are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We and RevenueCat do not collect or store your payment card details.
  • Purpose: the data processed by RevenueCat is used only to grant access to paid features, prevent purchase fraud and analyze aggregate subscription performance.

On-device storage

Personal settings such as timer names or display preferences stay in your device's local storage and are never sent to external servers.

Launch signup and this website

If you use the Get notified form on this website, we collect your email address, your device type (Android or iOS), whether you'd like to beta test, and when you signed up. We store these details with Mailchimp, our email service provider, and use them only to email you about BubbleTimer's launch and, if you opted in, beta testing. We never share them or use them for anything else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email hello@droidwebmedia.com to be removed. Mailchimp may record whether you open our emails and click their links.

Location information

The Application does not request or access precise GPS location from your device. Our analytics and crash-reporting providers derive a coarse location (country, region or city) from your device. We use it only to see which regions use BubbleTimer so we can provide appropriate user experienes.

Third-party services and SDKs

We work with service providers for app delivery, stability monitoring, analytics, subscription handling and launch emails. They process data on our behalf under their own security and data-processing terms:

We do not sell user data, or share it with third-party ad networks or data brokers for cross-app tracking.

Data retention

  • Analytics and diagnostics: usage events and session recordings sent to PostHog, and crash logs sent to Sentry, are stored for up to one year. We may keep information longer where needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate misuse or security incidents, or defend our legal rights.
  • De-identified data: we may keep aggregated or de-identified data, which no longer identifies you, indefinitely.
  • Launch signups: kept in Mailchimp to facilitate product launch. Details may be deleted upon request; email communications will be accompanied by an option to unsubscribe.
  • Local data: you can delete everything the app stores on your device at any time by clearing its storage in your device settings or by uninstalling it.

Your rights (GDPR and CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area and California, you may have the right to:

  • access, export or delete the personal data we hold about you;
  • not be treated differently for exercising your privacy rights; and
  • stop further collection of diagnostic data.

To stop usage analytics and crash reporting, open Settings → Privacy in the app and switch off "Share anonymous usage data", or uninstall the app.

To make a request, email hello@droidwebmedia.com. We'll acknowledge it promptly and respond within 30 days.
